IT Infrastructure Delivery Manager

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Delivery Manager to be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects to meet our customer needs and responsible for customer relationships across their span of control.

Responsibilities

  • Defining team roadmap, understanding the pipeline of demand and work to ensure an appropriate supply of resources;
  • Leading a team in order to deliver technology projects on time and within budget;
  • Juggling multiple and conflicting priorities in a timely and sensitive way;
  • Maintaining end-to-end accountability for customer satisfaction and overall delivery excellence;
  • Maintain and optimize local company networks and servers;
  • Oversee data backup and system security operations;
  • Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software;
  • Assess system performance and recommend improvements;
  • Manage contracts with vendors (e.g. development platforms, telecommunication companies, password managers) and software licenses;
  • Bring the best practices for cloud, virtualizations, WAN optimization, etc.;
  • Make sure that all relevant data is properly collected and stored, including performance metrics, service levels, server status and both planned and unplanned system outages;
  • Ensure security levels on network, infrastructure and servers are maintained;
  • Develop IT policies and practices.

Job requirements

  • 5-7+ years of professional experience in IT environment working with multiple disciplines to deliver projects in line with customer needs, according with Agile methodologies;
  • Proven track record of delivering a collection of infrastructure projects;
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and translate them to actionable roadmaps;
  • Ability to manage risk, and encourage strategic risk management based delivery in others to manage; expectations and communicate effectively;
  • Strong collaboration skills to build teams across business boundaries;
  • You are able to effortlessly switch between management role and engineering role;
  • Drives operational improvements and efficiencies through the creation and implementation of rigorous process and controls, acting as a gatekeeper for quality;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Customer-oriented and team-work mindset;
  • Very good communication skills in order to better strategize, plan and collaborate;
  • You are intimately familiar with networking technologies and virtual architecture.
